Viera offers a wide range of recreational activities and based on its close proximity to the world-class beaches and Indialantic River and Lagoon, water sports are not just in backyard pools. Leagues

Tennis, basketball, soccer, and volleyball are just a few of the leagues in Viera. Teams have reached state and national levels during all seasons of play. The registration is simple and the teams enjoy playing as much as the fans enjoy cheering them on. Lighted fields in the area provide extended hours of play. Men and women golf leagues from pro to beginner are also available at each golf course.

Indoor Play

The Viera Regional Park provides indoor basketball, martial arts and craft lessons among many other activities. Painting classes can be found at the Art Gallery of Viera along with drawing and mosaics. During the hotter summer months, dance, yoga and fencing is also another way to stay cool.

Outdoor Play

Viera is so close to the Intracoastal Waterway, St. Johns River and beaches, many residents enjoy fishing, surfing and boating along the Florida coastline. At the local parks you might find a few kites, rollerblades or families enjoying the long summer days under a picnic pavilion.
