For the fourth year in a row, Brevard Public Schools ranks second in Florida and first of the ten largest districts in the percentage of National Board Certified Teachers. The 61 new National Board Certified Teachers is the sixth highest number in the state for this year.
The greatest advantage of having a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) in the classroom is that the process has taught these teachers to reflect on their teaching practice.
