Neighborhoods Designed to Meet Brevard's Diverse Housing Needs
Portions of the West Viera project will be built following many of the principles of traditional neighborhood design. The West Viera expansion will consist of four distinct villages, each with a mixed-use, walkable activity center. These centers will likely include residential, retail, entertainment, and open air plazas in a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere. The density of residences in the centers will be the highest in the community.

Radiating outward from these centers, the density will steadily decrease, shifting first to a mixture of townhomes, condos, and a single-family residences, and then to larger lots and more conventional single-family housing. The great diversity in housing styles, sizes, and prices will ensure that Viera continues to meet the different housing needs of Brevard County’s residents.
